Giandra is a versatile professional who has gained extensive experience in the hospitality industry, entrepreneurship, and banking. She is a graduate of International Hospitality Management at Stenden Hogeschool in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands.Eager to broaden her horizons and immerse herself in different cultures, she actively participated in various exchange programs which offered her the opportunity to live in Bangkok and Brussels, where she embraced the diverse experiences and expanded her global perspective.

Upon completing her studies, Giandra felt a strong calling to return to her hometown of Aruba and contribute her knowledge and skills to benefit her island. She worked at The Ritz Carlton hotel as Housekeeping Manager. However, her entrepreneurial spirit led her to venture into a new endeavor, she opened her first official business—a healthy food truck. Though she encountered the challenges inherent in being a new and inexperienced business owner, she embraced the opportunity for growth and learning that each obstacle presented.

After gaining valuable insights from her entrepreneurial venture, Giandra decided to explore a different professional path and joined Aruba Bank, where she spent four years. During her time at the bank, Giandra developed a profound realization: she yearned to be an entrepreneur again. Fueled by her passion for personal development and leadership, she took the leap and established Level Up Leadership & Personal Development Training. Giandra's commitment to excellence is evident through her certification as a John Maxwell Team Member. Leveraging her expertise, she offers a wide range of John Maxwell courses and serves as a certified Maxwell method of DISC consultant.

In December 2022, Giandra achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first LEGO ® SERIOUS ®PLAY ®Certified facilitator for Aruba. This certification showcases her dedication to helping organizations tackle challenges through effective problem-solving, fostering stronger teamwork, and improving communication and mutual understanding—all while infusing an element of fun.

In her personal life, Giandra is deeply engaged in community service. As a founding member of the Kiwanis Club of San Nicolas, she has served on the executive board for several terms. Her commitment to personal growth and development is further evidenced by her involvement as a former Toastmaster and former member of JCI Aruba Female.

Giandra is mother to a boy, nurtures her passion for exploration and cultural immersion through travel. Additionally, she is an avid reader and finds joy in Latin dancing.

Her entrepreneurial spirit, combined with her expertise in leadership and personal development, equips her to empower individuals and organizations to reach their fullest potential.
